DHD 2015Himachal got new dancing stars of 2015 as Divya Himachal Group’s ‘Dance Himachal Dance Season 3’ event culminated with grand finale held at jam packed Sardar Sobha Singh Auditorium of Tanda medical College. Finalists of the event were so motivated and enthusiastic to lay their hands on the coveted title that even celebrity Judge Ravinder Singh of Terrence Lewis Dance Academy, Mumbai acknowledged their potential and dedication. Audience enjoyed breathtaking performances in different dance styles by the finalists during the finale. Notably, winner of the Dance Himachal Dance in senior category gets direct entry into Terrence Lewis Dance Academy. It was another event by Divya Himachal Media Group to provide platform and opportunities to Himachal youth who have immense potential in different fields.

Other Events

Divya Himachal has been organizing different events to tap and encourage Himachali talent in different fields. These include ‘Miss Himachal’, ‘Himachal ki Aawaz’ and ‘Mr. Himachal’ events. This year the media group has added one more event ‘Mrs. Himachal’ to provide an opportunity to those women who normally remain confine to the four walls of their houses.

Solan’s Mohit is DHD-3 Champion

Mohit (Solan) Winner Senior SoloTwinkle (Solan) Winner Junior SoloMohit from Solan emerged as the winner in senior solo category of DHD-3 whereas Twinkle, also from Solan won in junior category in the midst of thunderous applause by the audience. Shimla’s Pankaja Chauhan and Solan’s Sanju were declared 1st and 2nd runner up respectively in the senior category whereas Arzoo Nagg of Palampur won 1st runner up title and 2nd runner up title in junior category was shared by Hamirpur’s Bipasha and Nahan’s Mahi. In group dance Shimla’s Meaker Youngs won title whereas Kullu’s D-Pirates and Solan’s SJ Dancing Zone secured 1st and 2nd runner up titles in senior category. In junior category, Mount Carmel School, Palampur-1 emerged winners whereas Mount carmel School, Palampur-2 and Solan’s Sj Dancing Zone were declared 1st and 2nd runner up winners. The audience was mesmerized as finalists gave scintillating performances one after the other in different dance styles.  The judges panel was also convinced that these dancing stars were capable of competing with their counterparts from any other state in the country.

DHDTicket to Terrence Lewis Dance Academy

Winner of Divya Himachal’s Dance Himachal Dance -3, Mohit of Solan has got a ticket to learn and fine tune his dancing skills. He was handed over the certificate by Divya Himachal’s Editor-in-Chief Anil Soni, Academy’s choreographer and World dance Champion Ravinder Singh and Academy’s manager Sonam Joshi.

The series of events initiated by Divya Himachal has helped in recognition of Himachal’s talent at national level that further motivates them to progress further. He revealed that Divya Himachal was not only performing its duties as a newspaper but also fulfilling its social responsibilities for welfare of the society. He advised the younger generation to march ahead with confidence, hard work and dedication to enjoy working in life.

Ravinder Singh ChoreographerKeeping in view the immense talent and potential, Choreographer of Terrence Lewis Dance Academy, Ravinder Singh announced 25% discount for Himachal youth who want to train in the academy in Mumbai while assuring full assistance in polishing their talent. Terrence Lewis has given his nod telephonically for the proposal, he added. Ravinder Singh, hailing from Bijhari in Hamirpur district of Himachal, said that he always yearns to do something for his home state.
